Ways we can make a difference |
The
Bexar County Medical Society Alliance is a multi-faceted organization
of physician spouses, both male and female.
We
come together to support civic, philanthropic and public health
projects in our community, to foster friendships within our family
of medicine and to become active in legislative matters that support
the free and unfettered practice of medicine.
Our
members include spouses of physicians who are, were, or are eligible
to be members of the Bexar County Medical Society. This includes
spouses of active physicians, retired physicians, or widowed spouses
who have not re-married outside of the profession and spouses of
interns, residents, and medical students as well.Where both spouses
are physicians, we welcome both as members of our organization.
The
BCMSA strives to offer projects and programs of interest and value
to our diverse membership. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer organization.
We appreciate every level of participation and support.
To become a member, please contact Hema Viswanathan (hemamaliniv@hotmail.com), Devi Mazumdar (devimaz@msn.com), or Linda Ruiz (ljruiz02@hotmail.com).
